Following are just a few examples of damage we see from time to time of what termites are capable of doing to a home.

Jack Schroeder, owner of Annapolis Pest Control, rips away drywall in a Millersville home last week to determine the extent of termite damage.  Mr. Schroeder and his co-workers said the damage represented about two years' worth of work by insects.

A close-up of the damage caused by the termites.  This used to be a solid piece of wood.

Here is a picture that shows termite damage to a floorplate and in the framing of the home.

Termites like cool damp places, like this dark corner of a kitchen.

This shows an example of how termites just shredded a ceiling joist.

Sometimes termites create what looks like mud tunnels in a damp dark area or room of your house, such as a utility room or basement. This activity is referred to as "Tubing".
